Folic acid

Folic acid (Vitamin B9) is the Vitamin B supplement used to prevent the folate deficiency (low blood level of folate) that can cause megaloblastic anaemia. This supplement not only used to prevent the high level of homocysteine but also minimize the risk of birth defects in pregnant women.
